Community Center of Hope Funding
The Community Center of Hope has an
annual budget of about $94,000. Three thousand of this is supported
by the United Way of Marathon County for the Hope Food Pantry.
Donations from individuals, churches, organizations, businesses, and
grants from local and regional foundations make up the rest. We receive
no direct government assistance.
We have a small staff, and depend on many volunteers who help with our
programming. Some of the fund raising opportunities we engage the community
in are an annual good drive, co-sponsora 9/11 memorial and benefit,
serve a community Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas bake sale and Year
End Fund Raiser.
Money raised will be used to support the important work of The Community
Center of Hope, Inc. Activities and services supplied include the food
pantry, education programs for children, senior fitness and activities
programs, a senior wellnessinitiative and free medical clinic services.
